Mr. Yao Jun, Chairman of Changrong, thanked Cargill for his long-term support and trust in Changrong, and the two parties chose to cooperate with the Global Innovation Center project based on similar corporate culture and values, and in the future, Changrong will work with Cargill to build the Innovation Center into a veritable global innovation center and make positive and extraordinary contributions to the Chinese and even global pig industry.

Ms. Zheng Hongfei, President of Cargill Animal Nutrition North Asia Business Group, said that as Cargill's first global innovation center in animal nutrition in Asia, it brings together the best innovation team, the most modern technology equipment and the strongest R&D strength in the world and China, which is the latest achievement of Cargill's comprehensive exploration of the "global power - localization" model.

Ms. Ruth Kimmelshue, member of Cargill's global executive management team, senior vice president and global president of Cargill Animal Nutrition and Health, looks forward to joining forces with Changrong to leverage Cargill's expertise in nutrition to better empower the farming industry, help improve animal welfare, promote sustainable development of the industry, and launch sustainable raw materials in the future to achieve 100% nutrient absorption and utilization.

The Global Innovation Center (GIC) is a strategic collaboration between Changrong and Cargill, and is Cargill's sixth global innovation center in the world and the first in Asia. As an important part of Cargill's global R&D system for animal nutrition, the Innovation Center will empower the high-quality development of the pig industry from a nutritional perspective to serve customers in China and Asia.

The center is a new R&D pilot farm jointly built by Changrong and Cargill, covering an area of 263 acres, with 2,400 sows, and more than 140 animal tests are conducted here every year, ranking first among Cargill's three innovation centers in the world.

As Asia's first global innovation center for swine nutrition, Changrong will conduct in-depth research in the fields of precision nutrition, sustainable raw materials, and digital farming through cooperation with Cargill Animal Nutrition, combined with the current situation of large-scale pig farms in China, to provide partners with cutting-edge and tailored smart breeding solutions.

At the same time, in terms of ecological cycle sustainability, Changrong, together with Canadian MAXIMUS and Sichuan Xinmuhui, equipped the innovation center with advanced environmental control system and manure treatment technology to reduce the impact of pig farms on the environment, reduce the emission of pollutants such as nitrogen and phosphorus, improve resource utilization and help sustainable development.
