" The story takes place in a penguin kingdom in Antarctica. A group of beautiful emperor penguins have lived there for generations. One day, an inquisitive penguin discovers that a potentially serious problem is threatening their home - and almost no one pays any attention to him."

From April 25-27, 2021, Shanxi Changrong Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. held a special training on "Leading Change" leadership enhancement, with invited coach Rose and 24 Changrong partners from Production Center, Operation Center, Marketing Department, Finance Department and Human Resources Department.

 

 

 

Chairman Yao Jun gave an opening speech. Mr. Yao firstly welcomed everyone's active participation and elaborated on the importance of continuous learning and constant change and innovation in the context of the company's development strategy. Mr. Yao hoped that all managers could proactively participate in leadership improvement, enhance themselves, delegate reasonably, and rely on the power of the team to promote their work!

01 Cognitive Self

Coach Rose first led everyone to review the outline of the training on topics such as "teamwork" and "performance management" since May 2020. Through the comparison of self-portrait before and after, Changrong partners summarized the changes they had made and the gains they had made.

 

 

 

 

"Warren Bennis, the father of leadership, suggests that leadership is not a set of innate traits, but the result of a lifelong process of self-discovery. This process of self-discovery allows people to become more complete and fulfilled human beings, people who have a clear awareness of themselves and can inspire the best in others.

02 Wheel of Life

The partners each drew their own life wheel and shared with each other in group discussions the state of life and values they wanted to present. There was a lively atmosphere and lively discussion, with bursts of laughter and applause.

 

 

 

 

 

03 Tree of Trust

"Lack of trust" is a major obstacle to teamwork, and the partners assessed the level of trust in teamwork through self-rating and mutual rating. They also shared how to enhance the trust relationship of team members one by one.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The four major toxins that hinder building trusting relationships: blame, contempt, indifference, and defensiveness.

The partners have examined themselves, interacted on the spot, and practically experienced the feelings of these toxins through the exercise. They began to consciously perceive their own emotional state and avoid the four major toxins as much as possible.

 

 

 

04 Leading Change

Coach Rose guided everyone to discuss in groups and summarize the goal of Changrong's change: from "Changrong" (jade) to "Changrong" (ware, craftsmanship). In other words, with Changrong's strategy as the core, the four aspects of organizational structure, system process, corporate culture and personnel, through the transformation of all Changrong people individually and organizationally, to achieve the purpose of change - "Changrong" (ware, artisan spirit).

A shared expectation of the future can inspire and coordinate people to pursue change.

06 Closing remarks

The three-day training on the topic of "Leading Change" ended successfully, and the Changrong partners gained a deep understanding of themselves and their teams, as well as a strong determination and confidence in change!
