1、Seed introduction and production

In 2023, the Changrong Cargill Global Innovation Center will be officially introduced and put into production, as a new R&D experimental farm jointly built by Changrong Agroscience and Cargill, with 2,400 sows and 70,000 pigs slaughtered annually. More than 140 animal tests are conducted here every year, and the R&D scale is the first of Cargill's three innovation centers in the world, and it is the third global innovation center in Cargill's animal nutrition and health business and the first in Asia.

2、Breeding system

In December 2023, Changrong successfully imported 900 original great-grandparent (GGP) pigs from the Hypor Core Breeding Farm in Chicago, USA. The first batch of breeding pigs is expected to be available to the market in July 2024 with a 45-day quarantine at the quarantine site. The successful introduction of Hypor breeding pigs marks the formal formation of Changrong's complete breeding system of "core herd-pure breeding-multiplication-commercial pigs".

3、Awards and honors

In 2023, Changrong has won two awards and honors of "National Swine Pseudorabies (Immunization) Purification Farm" and "Provincial Ecological Farm" by virtue of its comprehensive strength. These accolades are a high recognition of Changrong's unremitting efforts and outstanding achievements in the industry, and are also an important milestone in Changrong's development. In the future, Changrong will continue to practice the concept of sustainable development, continuously improve the level of biosecurity, promote the construction of local ecological farms, and contribute to the high-quality development of animal husbandry in Shanxi.

4、Make friends through the show

2023 Changrong make friends through the show, exchange and improve, and seek common development. This year, Changrong appeared at the 11th Leman China Pig Conference and World Swine Industry Expo, the 20th China Animal Husbandry Expo, the 2023 World Seed Industry Forum and World Livestock and Poultry Industry Expo and other exhibitions, exchanging the latest industry information with many authoritative experts, sharing the latest achievements of the swine industry, and promoting international exchanges and cooperation in the swine industry.

5、Live interactions

In order to meet the diversified needs of the pig field, in 2023, Changrong will carry out a new attempt in the field of live broadcasting, and has successively participated in live broadcasts such as "Live Broadcast Class of Excellent Pig Breeding Enterprises" and "Live Broadcast of Breeding Pigs Riding the Wind and Waves", with a live broadcast duration of nearly 900 minutes, and the total popularity of the live broadcast is as high as one million.

6、Education and training

Education and training has always been a vital part of Changrong's value chain system, and in 2023, Changrong will have a total of 240 hours of training, including personal growth, corporate culture, production management and other sections, involving new employees, backbones, managers, production and many other personnel.
